Hundreds of area children turned out Saturday morning to attend the Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced’s 26th annual Easter Egg Hunt, which was being held at Applegate Park.
The younger children went hunting for eggs across the park’s tennis courts. Meanwhile, the older children in the crowd spread out across the lawn in a search for eggs on the park’s green area. The plastic eggs left by organizers contained a variety of candy and tickets for prizes.
