at the Star Club

The band “Flashback” will be featured from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday at the Star Club, 1331 W. Main St. in Merced. Ages 21 and older only, no cover.

‘Mary of Nazareth’

at the Merced Theatre

The film “Mary of Nazareth” will be shown at the Merced Theatre at 3 p.m. Sunday. The screening of the film is being sponsored by Our Lady of Mercy St. Patrick’s Parish.

Documentary screening

The documentary film “The House I Live In,” which questions the war on drugs, is scheduled to screen from 6:30 to 9 p.m. June 14 at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center, 645 W. Main St. The film will be followed by a discussion. The event is sponsored by UC Merced’s Center for Humanities and UC Merced’s Library.

Exotica Thursdays

at Club Bahia

Exotica Thursdays is an LGBT club party with DJs mixing dance beats, 8 p.m. every Thursday at Club Bahia. A drag show is held every first Thursday of the month. Club Bahia is at 224 W. Main St.

The Comedy Jam featuring comedians Loni Love, Jill-Michele Melean and Edwin San Juan is scheduled for 8 p.m. June 27 at the Merced Theatre, located at 301 W. Main St. in Merced. Tickets are $20 to 25.
