A 66-year-old woman was seriously injured late Friday in a single-vehicle rollover near Flower Street in Delhi, the California Highway Patrol reported Sunday.
Delhi resident Kathleen Romero was ejected from her vehicle and sustained major injuries. She was transported to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Officers said alcohol was determined to be a factor in the accident.
The CHP said the crash occurred about 9:15 p.m. as Romero was traveling northbound on Flower Street, south of Bradbury Road, at an undetermined speed in a Chrysler Town & Country minivan.

Witnesses told officers Romero was attempting to pass another vehicle by crossing a double yellow line while entering a curve in the roadway.
According to the CHP, Romero’s vehicle was traveling too fast to negotiate the curve and ran off the roadway. It continued onto the dirt shoulder and overturned in a cornfield.
Romero wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was ejected when the Chrysler rolled.
She was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
