Police say Munoz has gang ties and the crime appears to be gang related. Police found a revolver wrapped in a towel inside the vehicle.
Munoz will be booked at Merced County Jail on suspicion of firing at an inhabited dwelling, being a felon in possession of ammunition, being a felon in possession of a weapon, and being a documented gang member with a weapon, according to Chapman.
