West Sacramento-based Clark Pacific said Wednesday that it has entered into an agreement with California State University, Sacramento, to build a full precast concrete parking structure on the campus.

Officials said Parking Structure V will be a six-story, 1,750-stall, 529,000-square-foot building adjacent to the campus Athletic Center. The project also includes a new, 13,400-square-foot, stand-alone “Welcome Center” and transportation/parking services offices.

Both buildings are scheduled to be occupied by the spring semester of 2018.

Terry Street, general manager of general contracting for Clark Pacific, said the company will employ “off-site structural and precast fabrication (and plans) on finishing (on-site) construction within one semester.”
