McDonald’s restaurants in the Sacramento area will be offering a free breakfast Tuesday morning to kindergarten through eighth-grade students.

The free breakfast – consisting of an Egg McMuffin, apple slices and 1 percent milk – will be offered from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

The program, which emphasizes the importance of a balanced breakfast for students, also extends to restaurants in the Stockton and Modesto areas.
