Sacramento sports facility Off The Wall Indoor Soccer has gone out of business after 24 years, the company announced this week via social media.

The business had recently moved and rebranded itself “Extreme Soccer and Rugby,” but soccer was its lifeblood.

The move closes the indoor arena at 5 Wayne Court in south Sacramento effective Nov. 1. The company’s Extreme Soccer retail stores in Roseville and Sacramento will remain open.

“Off The Wall Soccer has provided thousands of recreational, competitive, and professional players a place to play, compete, and develop their skills no matter what level,” the company wrote about the closing on its Facebook page.

“To the thousands of players and customers that have walked through Off The Wall Soccer’s arena doors, we thank you for being part of something special and helping to create many long lasting soccer memories!!”

Dozens of former patrons have responded, posting messages to Facebook.
