Need a job? Nearly 100 employers will be on hand for Woodland job fair

Nearly 100 employers, educators and apprenticeship programs will be represented Wednesday at a job fair in Woodland.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Woodland Community Center at 2001 East St.

The Yolo County Health & Human Services Agency is the primary host for the annual event, which aims to connect job seekers with numerous employers.

The agency said this year’s list of on-site employers includes Cache Creek Casino, Dunnigan Hills, Express Pros, Mariani Nut Co., Motel 6, Operating Engineers Local No.3, PGP International, Pierce Heating and Air, St. John’s Retirement Village, Walgreens, Winters Joint Unified School District and numerous temporary employment agencies.

Available positions run the gamut: machine tool engineers, service technicians, administrative personnel, retail workers, warehouse workers, sorters, assembly line personnel, security and food service employees, cement workers and home health care associates.
