Put on by the Roseville-based Capital Region Family Business Center, the 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. gathering at 3333 Marconi Ave., will focus on topics that include transitioning and reinventing a family-run business.

Guest speakers are Ken Dwelle, chief operating officer of Auburn-based Flyers Energy, and Stan Van Vleck, president of Van Vleck Ranch in Rancho Murieta.

Two breakout sessions also are scheduled, offering information on bringing an outside executive into the family business and family trusts.
