Wells Fargo has awarded a $50,000 grant to The Get A Job Kit program overseen by Women’s Empowerment, the Sacramento nonprofit that helps homeless women find employment.
Get A Job Kit is a paid job-training program to prepare participants for job interviews and to develop essential workplace skills, including inventory control, quality assurance, workplace safety and customer service.
The Get A Job Kit program was founded in 1990 by Shirley Willey, who donated the business to Women’s Empowerment when she retired earlier this year.
