Appropriately for a California team, the San Francisco Giants celebrated their World Series-clinching victory Wednesday night with a Napa Valley sparkling wine.

Mumm Napa, which operates its winery along the Silverado Trail in Rutherford, made sure to get the word out Thursday, releasing a flurry of statistics on the wine-soaked celebration in the Giants’ clubhouse following their 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals in the seventh and deciding game of the 2014 World Series.

Mumm Napa said it provided enough Giants Brut Prestige to fill a hot tub – roughly 312 gallons, or 130 cases, of the specially labeled sparkling wine.

The winemaker also noted that the Giants celebrated with Mumm Napa following their 2010 and 2012 World Series championships. Last year, Mumm Napa said its Giants Brut Prestige – going for $27 a bottle – became the team’s official sparkling wine. The bottle’s label features the Giants logo.

But good luck trying to find a bottle: On the Mumm Napa website Thursday, Giants Brut Prestige was listed as sold out.
