Raley’s and Save Mart, two of the largest supermarket chains in Northern California, have claimed spots once again on Forbes magazine’s annual list of the largest privately owned U.S. companies.
West Sacramento-based Raley’s came in at No. 135 on the list, the same as last year, with $3.2 billion in revenue for 2015.
Save Mart, based in Modesto, is ranked 91st with $4.5 billion in annual revenue.
Albertsons, the Idaho food conglomerate that owns Safeway, is No. 3 on the list with $58.7 billion in sales.
