California’s export trade industry once again saw declines in year-over-year numbers in July.
In-state businesses shipped merchandise valued at $13.51 billion, down 2.1 percent from $13.8 billion in July 2015, according to an analysis of Friday’s U.S. Commerce Department figures by Beacon Economics.
Beacon noted that California exports have not registered a year-over-year improvement since April 2015.
For comparison, U.S. merchandise exports in July fell 6.5 percent.
