Idaho tech firm chooses Sacramento for West Coast region office

An Idaho tech company says it has chosen Sacramento as the site for its West Coast region office.

Zennify, a cloud consulting firm that lists Covered California and Sacramento-based Sutter Health among its clients, said it is hoping to pin down an office site by mid-October. The firm is considering midtown but may temporarily utilize incubator space as it ramps up.

The 4-year-old company currently has three full-time employees in Sacramento, but the plan is to increase that to 20 by the close of fiscal year 2018. Those jobs will be in development and cloud consulting.

“The firm evaluated several West Coast locations, but the decision ultimately came down to the availability of high caliber local talent and its collaborative business culture,” said Zennify co-founder and President Manvir Sandhu. “With several acclaimed higher education institutions and a strategic location which offers a better quality of life, we are discovering and hiring talented professionals that are exceeding client expectations.”

Sandhu added that “the ease of access to Bay Area talent and its customers put Sacramento at the forefront of the selection process.”

Zennify specializes in system integration, cloud consulting, business intelligence, custom apps, change management and managed services.

The company said its milestone accomplishments to date include developing a solution to preserve life-saving vaccines in Haiti, enhancing a national financial advising group’s system to improve customer interactions, and helping a large food retailer track demand and pricing trends in the marketplace.
