Consolidated Communications customers in the Sacramento area lost Internet service late Tuesday night, an outage that lasted into Wednesday morning.
CCI spokeswoman Anne Chacon said the outage occurred about 11:30 p.m., and service was restored by 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
In an email, Chacon said the outage “is still under investigation.”
She added that the outage did not affect all customers in the Sacramento area and “was isolated to two of our local hubs within the Sacramento region (which) affected both residential and business customers who were served out of those hubs.”
