Job fair for veterans scheduled
A job and resource fair geared to U.S. military veterans is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McClellan Conference Center, 5411 Luce Ave., North Highlands. The “Honor a Hero, Hire a Vet” is sponsored by the California Employment Development Department. It’s free and open to the public. The gathering will focus on assisting military personnel returning from service and looking for employment.
