Le Diner en Blanc, an invitation-only event that draws guests to a secret location, will return to Sacramento this fall for the third year in a row.
Organizers of the event, which began in Paris in 1988 and has been held in 80 cities in 30 countries, announced Tuesday that the secret event will take place in an iconic Sacramento location Oct. 6. Last year, more than 1,600 people gathered at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, and in 2016, guests dined at the Golden 1 Center.
In a press release, organizers said attendees from last year will be the first to receive invitations. People who are interested in attending this year can register to join the wait list.
Guest are required to wear all white and bring their own meal, drinks, table, chairs, table settings and centerpiece.
