One-way traffic controls will be in effect on Highway 12 at the Rio Vista for three days beginning Tuesday when the California Department of Transportation is scheduled to conduct its annual structure inspection of the bridge.
The Rio Vista Bridge spans the Sacramento River between Sacramento and Solano counties.
For worker and public safety during the inspection, one-way traffic controls on the bridge are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, according to a Caltrans news release. The work will be conducted weather permitting.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times, with crews alternating traffic in the westbound and eastbound directions. Flaggers will help direct traffic.
