Sacramento is expected to have mostly sunny skies this holiday week with an oncoming weak weather system heading south.
The offshore low pressure system, with its threat of rain, is expected to move toward Southern California after originating in the Gulf of Alaska. The weather system plunge to the south will leave good weather in Sacramento for outdoor deep-frying of turkeys and trips to grandma’s house.
The high in Sacramento on Wednesday and Thursday is expected to be 67 degrees. The detailed forecast for the Sacramento region from the NWS:
Today: Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming northwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
