A popular activewear brand plans to open its first Sacramento-area store at Roseville’s Westfield Galleria.

Vuori Clothing filed building permit plans with the city of Roseville on Tuesday to occupy a space at the popular shopping center, according to Gina McColl, an economic development analyst with the city.

The store will occupy a 3,650-square-foot space at 1151 Galleria Blvd., Suite 1035, she said.

It wasn’t clear Wednesday when the store will open.

What is Vuori Clothing?

Based in Carlsbad, Vuori Clothing “draws inspiration from the coastal California lifestyle” for its apparel, according to the company’s website.

The retailer specializes in fitness clothing for women and men, including shorts, joggers, leggings and outerwear such as jackets and hoodies.

Vuori’s first store opened in Encinitas in 2014.

The chain now operates a total of 58 locations throughout the United States.

Which new stores are coming to Roseville Galleria?

Over the past two months, officials have announced that six new tenants will be joining the Roseville Galleria this year.

Clothing retailers Free People, Rothy’s and Amour Vert plan to open stores at the mall, along with jewelry brand Gorjana jewelry brand.

Chocolate company Laderach Chocolatier Suisse and Massage Chairs and More plan to open Galleria locations over the summer.
