Young skaters will have the opportunity to meet characters from the Disney movie “Frozen” during a free skate day at the Roseville Westfield Galleria outdoor ice rink.

The free skate day at the Bayside Ice Rink on The Promenade is scheduled for Nov. 7. An “Ice Party,” scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon, will feature Princess Elsa and Anna from the animated feature “Frozen.”

Also on Nov. 7, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., the rink will be illuminated for what is called “Glow on Ice.” The first 200 skaters get a glowing gift.

The ice rink opens Saturday and is scheduled to remain open daily through Jan. 19. Admission includes skates and is free for children under 3 years old with a paid adult.

Admission is $10 for children 8 years and younger; $14 for 9 years and older skaters.
