Temperatures to remain unseasonably high for the weekend

The unseasonably high temperatures in the Sacramento region will stick around through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Downtown Sacramento will hit 76 degrees for Saturday and 77 for Sunday. The temperatures are about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year, said Robert Baruffaldi, a weather service forecaster. Overnight lows will dip into the 50-degree range.

But starting Wednesday, Baruffaldi said, “a low chance of rain will pull temperatures back toward normal.”

Here’s the seven-day forecast:

Saturday: Widespread haze before 10 a.m. Sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday night: Widespread haze after 10 p.m. Mostly clear, with a low around 52. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Sunday: Widespread haze before 10 a.m. Sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50. Light and variable wind.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 75. Light and variable wind.

Monday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 50.

Veterans Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 50.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52.

Thursday: A slight chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 68.

Thursday night: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 68.
