In response to public participation and requests, El Dorado County officials announced they are extending the close date for the county’s Citizen Engagement Survey from Monday to Nov. 20.

The survey, along with town hall meetings and focus groups, is part of the county effort to develop a three-year strategic plan. The engagement process is intended to give residents an opportunity to comment on why they live in El Dorado County and what they think would improve their quality of life.

The survey can be completed online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ElDoradoCitizens. Paper survey forms also may be obtained at various public facilities throughout the county. For survey locations, call 530-621-5628, or see the county’s website at www.edcgov.us/.
