Property owners, have you paid your tax bill?
Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado and Placer counties require that the first 2014-15 property tax installment be paid by Wednesday to avoid a penalty. Payments can be submitted at county tax collector offices before the close of business Wednesday, by mail or online. The last option comes with a fee.
All four counties consider payments to be on-time if they are postmarked by Wednesday.
