The 58-foot tree has been decorated by volunteers with more than 50,000 lights and decorations. The first “Macy’s Theatre of Lights” performance of the season will follow at 6:30 p.m. The show blends lights, sound and visual effects to accompany the reading of the famous holiday poem “The Night Before Christmas.” The show will continue through Dec. 31.
