Sun and light north winds are in the forecast for Sacramento today.
The National Weather Service is predicting a high temperature of 58 degrees for downtown. Winds will reach between 10-15 mph.
“It’s a little warmer than normal,” said weather service forecaster Mike Smith. “Tomorrow morning will be somewhat colder with the cooler air mass already in place.”
The weather service has issued the season’s first frost advisory for Saturday, with early morning temperatures expected to drop to 32 degrees.
“The first freeze is significant because a lot of plants are going to die unless they are brought in or covered,” Smith said.
