The public is asked to provide information about a man found with what turned out to be a fatal gunshot wound in front of a Del Paso Heights home over the weekend.
The man, who has not been identified, was disoriented when officers found him in the 3700 block of Ivy Street about 7 p.m. Sunday. The first officers rendered medical aid, help that was continued when Sacramento Fire Department medical personnel arrived.
Detectives and crime scene investigators collected evidence and interviewed people who might have heard or seen something that could lead officers to the shooter.
The man was pronounced dead Wednesday at a hospital.
