South Lake Tahoe police reported Thursday that a seventh person has been arrested the Jan. 30 shooting death of an Amador County man in a motel parking lot.
South Lake Tahoe detectives, assisted by Fairfield police officers, arrested 25-year-old Andrew Adams of Suisun City. Police said Adams is accused of participating in the robbery that led to the death of 40-year-old Dennis Wright in the Beverly Lodge parking lot. During the transaction, two men tried to rob Wright and Ghiorso at gunpoint of cash involved in the drug deal, police said.
