The California Highway Patrol’s Yuba-Sutter area office is accepting sign-ups of its November “Start Smart” class for teenage drivers and their parents.
The class is designed to help reduce collisions and injuries involving teen drivers, according to a CHP news release. The program aims to raise awareness of the consequences of poor choices when deciding to drive a motor vehicle. Class participants will hear personal testimony from someone directly affected by a tragic collision.
The two-hour class will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Yuba-Sutter CHP office, 1619 Poole Blvd., Yuba City.
For reservations, call the CHP office at 530-674-5141.
