Rocklin and Sacramento police used a GPS locator on a stolen mobile device to arrest a teen and a man.
Rocklin officers took a report of a vehicle break-in on Saturday in the 5400 block of Commons Drive in which a mobile device was stolen.
After a short period, according to a Rocklin police news release, the device was switched on, which alerted the owner to its location.
Sacramento police went to the 2800 block of 65th Street in Sacramento and said they found Jeremy Chapman, 38, of Lockeford and Hope Dooley, 19, of Galt in possession of the mobile device and other property stolen from the vehicle.
