The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office released surveillance photos of two men sought in a Sunday night armed robbery at a Subway restaurant in Camino.

The Sheriffs’ Office received a 911 call about 8:15 p.m. reporting that a robbery had just occurred at the Subway at 3600 Carson Road. Witnesses told deputies that two armed, masked men entered the restaurant and demanded cash. The employee complied, and the men left with an undisclosed amount of money before deputies arrived, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

Both men were described as white, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with an average build and wearing all black clothing, gloves and black ski-type masks. One of the men was armed with a black handgun and the other had a silver revolver, sheriff’s officials said.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call Detective James Peterson at 530-642-4713 or Detective John Conley at 530-642-4712.
