A woman who disappeared from her home near Madison Avenue and Roseville Road on Thursday has been found safe in San Joaquin County.
Sacramento County sheriff’s officials said the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department received a phone call about 2 p.m. Friday from a citizen who reported seeing a woman matching the description of 41-year-old Carrie Basham. Deputies contacted the woman and identified her as Basham. Sheriff’s officials said she will be reunited with her family.
Basham had last been seen about noon Thursday driving away from her home. Sheriff’s officials said she has family and friends in Stockton and Santa Rosa. She was considered at risk because she had never been missing before and because she has a medical condition requiring medicine.
