A man who terrorized a Natomas family was sentenced Friday for numerous counts related to sexual assault and other charges.
Anthony Ray Jones, 26, was sentenced to 150 years to life, plus 41 consecutive years in prison. A jury had found him guilty Sept. 21 of two counts of rape and four other sex-related counts, false imprisonment, burglary, child endangerment and other counts.
As a Natomas woman entered her apartment with her 3-year-old son on Sept. 21, 2015, Jones forced his way inside. When she screamed, Jones pointed a gun at her son and threatened to shoot him unless she was quiet.
While threatening the woman and her son, Jones ordered the woman to take off her clothes. Jones then raped her.

Jones recorded the assaults on the woman with his cellphone camera. When the woman’s husband returned home, Jones ordered him to a bathroom floor and threatened to shoot him.
Jones then fled and told the woman if she called police he would return and shoot each member of the family. His jail arrest record showed he was arrested a day after the assault.
