Man sought in burglary of Sacramento recycling business

Sacramento police have released a surveillance photo of a man sought in a recent burglary at a recycling facility.

A man shown in the photo entered Westrock Recycling at 4800 Florin Perkins Road at 3:25 a.m. Oct. 27, according to a Police Department news release. He allegedly stole miscellaneous items before leaving.

The man is described as white, in his 30s, 5 feet, 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was seen in surveillance video wearing red reading glasses, a T-shirt with a design on the back, shorts and Vans-style shoes.

Police ask anyone who recognizes the man or who has information pertaining to the burglary to call the department’s dispatch center at 916-264-5471, or Crime Alert at 916-443-4357, or submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
