Sacramento police have released pictures of a pickup that they believe struck and killed a man early Sunday on Rio Linda Boulevard.
Sacramento police officers responded to the 2800 block of Rio Linda near Alamos Avenue about 12:30 a.m. where they found a man who had been struck by a hit-and-run vehicle.
Vehicle crash debris were found at the scene of the crash. The man died at the scene and he has not yet been identified.
Investigators said they are seeking information about the pickup in the pictures, a white 1999 to 2002 Chevrolet pickup with darker-colored panels below the cab and truck bed.

The photos appear to show front-end damage. The truck is also to believed to be missing a headlight.
