A fire in Rocklin heavily damaged the garage of a home and two cars inside, but residents were able to get out without injury.
The blaze was reported at about 4:15 a.m. Tuesday at the home in the 5300 block of Brandon Drive. The fire began in the garage and spread into the attic, shooting flames high above the house, according to fire officials.
Damage was mostly contained to the garage, attic and roof. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
