Placer County Sheriff’s deputies said they arrested a woman at a campground near Colfax on numerous charges, including suspicion of using a stolen credit card.
Placer County Property Crimes Unit detectives arrested Michelle Muir, 50, at the Bear River Campground. Detectives said a wallet had been stolen from a car parked in the day-use area.
Security video allegedly showed Muir using the stolen card at a local convenience store. She was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail in Auburn.
