A man’s body was found in a home heavily damaged by fire Tuesday afternoon in a neighborhood between Roseville and Citrus Heights.
Firefighters responded to the single-family home in the 8500 block of Robie Way about 4:30 p.m. The fire was extinguished about 30 minutes later.
The house was packed with possessions, contributing to a “heavy fuel load,” said a Roseville Fire Department spokeswoman.
A search of the home resulted in the finding of a body, according to a Placer County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman. The identity of the man and cause of death have not been released.
