The family of Aly Yeoman, the missing woman whose body was found Sunday in the Feather River, announced that a celebration of life for her is scheduled June 3 in Biggs.

A post Friday on the “Justice for Aly Yeoman” Facebook page said the event will begin at 10 a.m. at Max’s Miracle Ranch, 3476 Smith Ave.

Because the ranch has been closed since October, family and friends are asking volunteers to help clean the area between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. May 21.

Yeoman, 20, was reported missing March 30 from the Live Oak Recreation Area. Her body was discovered in the Feather River near Live Oak, according to the Sutter County Sheriff’s Department.

Yeoman’s cause of death has not yet been released.

“We wanted to thank the community for all the love and support they have shown to our family in our time of need,” the family said.

Anyone with information pertaining to the case is asked to call the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office at 530-822-7307 or leave a tip on the Sheriff’s Office website,
