A 36-year-old Sacramento man was identified as the person who died Friday morning in a south Sacramento apartment complex, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office said.

Antwan Forbes was found dead inside a home at the Aspen Park Apartments, in the 5200 block of Mack Road, after police responded to reports of a stabbing at 10:47 a.m., said Officer Linda Matthew, department spokeswoman.

When police arrived, they located two wounded people with non-life threatening injuries. Both were sent to the hospital. Matthew said she did not know the types of injuries, ages or gender of those individuals.

Officers continued inside the home, where they found Forbes. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Matthew also said she did not know the relationship between any of the parties involved. The incident did not appear to be gang- or narcotics-related, she said.
