Two people have been arrested in Folsom for allegedly using fake identification and forged credit cards.
A Folsom merchant told police that a couple might have been using fraudulent credit cards. An officer stopped the car in which the two were riding and began questioning them.
Officers arrested Joshua Lee Maddux, 37, and Lorine May Miears, 23, both of Bakersfield. Officers found fake identification, counterfeit cash, stolen mail and forged credit cards, in addition to equipment to make forged items, according to police.
Maddux was booked on suspicion of forgery and related charges. Officers said Maddux had arrest warrants from Los Angeles and Kern counties.
