Sacramento police are investigating the death of a bicyclist following a collision Tuesday evening in the Robla area.
Police spokesman Sgt. Doug Morse said the collision occurred about 6:44 p.m. at Marlin Spike Way and Sully Street. The motor vehicle involved in the crash left the scene and is being sought by police.
Morse said the bicyclist was an adult, but no further information was available. He said investigators are interviewing people at the scene and trying to piece together what occurred.
Sully Street north of Norwood Avenue is closed to through traffic. Morse said only residents of the area are being allowed to enter the area while the investigation is underway.
