Rocklin restaurant owner booked on arrest warrant alleging child molestation

A Rocklin man is in Placer County jail on a warrant from Southern California that accuses him of child molestation.

Ronald Lynn Maestas, 53, was booked into jail on July 25 on an outstanding $1 million arrest warrant from Corona police in Riverside County. Rocklin officers contacted him and arrested Maestas, the owner of The Mad Teriyaki restaurant.

The restaurant, which opened last year, is located at 5065 Pacific St. in the Quarry District, according to a post on the city of Rocklin website.
