Voting has begun for the American Association of State Troopers’ 2017 Best Looking Cruiser Contest.
A Facebook album features the California Highway Patrol’s newest patrol vehicle parked in front of the state Capitol. Voters are advised to “Like” the picture of their favorite cruiser and not the Facebook post only.
Voters are also welcomed to provide comments about the vehicles, but they will no count as votes; only “likes” for individual cruisers will be counted, according to the AAST Facebook page. The winner will be presented with the “Best Looking Cruiser Award” and featured on the cover of the AAST’s “America's Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2018 Wall Calendar.”
Voting ends at 2 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Aug. 14.
