A 50-year-old woman from Pleasant Grove died early Friday morning when she was ejected from a vehicle in a rollover crash in Sutter County.
The crash was reported about 6:30 a.m. on El Centro Boulevard north of Marcum Road, near the community of Nicolaus. The woman was driving a Mercedes south on El Centro Boulevard at a point where the roadway makes a sweeping turn to the left. As the Mercedes entered the turn, it slid off the roadway and hit a dirt embankment, according to a California Highway Patrol news release.
