Woodland police have released surveillance photos of two men sought in the Friday afternoon robbery of a Walgreen’s pharmacy.
Police received numerous calls shortly after 3 p.m. regarding a theft at the Walgreens at 10 W. Main St. The callers reported that two men had jumped over the pharmacy counter and stolen prescription narcotics, according to a Police Department Facebook post.
The two men were described as African Americans wearing hooded sweatshirts. They reportedly jumped over the counter and ordered employees to unlock a cabinet containing prescription narcotic pills. They took several bottles and left the store on foot, heading east on Court Street.
Officers were investigating witness’s reports that the men got into a parked vehicle, possibly an older model white Cadillac, near Court Street and left in the vehicle.
