A car crash blocking the fast lane of westbound I-80 east of Mace Boulevard has been cleared, according to the California Highway Patrol and Caltrans.
The incident occurred in Davis at 5:47 a.m. when a black Nissan blew a tire and hit and guardrail, according to CHP spokespeople Andrea Mogler and Rodney Fitzhugh. The crash, which Fitzhugh said left the driver with only minor injuries, was cleared by 6:23 a.m.
The driver did not go to the hospital and the car was not badly damaged, Fitzhugh said.
