Sacramento Police release clip of party bus that may have witnessed assault
Muhammad Khan, the 38-year-old man who police believe was assaulted on the night of Aug. 27, died from his injuries on Thursday night, according to the Sacramento Coroner’s Office
Khan was found bleeding and in need of medical attention near 12th Street and K Street at around 2:15 a.m. after Sacramento Police officers were called to the scene, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Friends of Khan told Fox40 that his wallet, credit card and ID were missing when he was found. He was leaving a birthday party at the Coin-Op Game Room on K Street when the alleged assault occured.
Sacramento Police are looking for passengers who were on a party bus that was parked near where Khan was found and may have witnessed the assault. The department has released video and photos of the bus and asks that anyone who recognizes the bus or knows someone who was on board that night contact them.
