A motorcycle crash on Highway 99 at Sheldon Road on Thursday morning caused major injuries for the cyclist and traffic delays.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the motorcyclist flipped in the area. Further details about the accident were not immediately available.

CHP reported the northbound lanes of the highway were cleared for traffic just before 7 a.m.
