A woman who was shown in surveillance video allegedly trying to break into a Rocklin home has been arrested.

The video, posted last month on the Rocklin Police Department’s Facebook page, received more than 32,000 views and was shared by numerous news outlets, according to Rocklin police, who announced Thursday that the post led to an arrest.

Shannon Silva, 40, of Olivehurst, was recently taken into custody by a law enforcement agency in another county after a police investigation of the attempted burglary resulted in a warrant for Silva’s arrest, Rocklin police reported.
